VoiceAbility helps people with disabilities build practical confidence, understand their rights, and communicate their needs clearly - through warm, inclusive, community-based programs.

Who we support

This program is for you

VoiceAbility is for people with disability who also face additional barriers in life - whether that is language and cultural differences, long-term unemployment, housing insecurity, contact with the justice system, or being a young person at risk. You do not need a diagnosis, a referral, or an NDIS plan to join. You just need to want to build skills, understand your rights, and feel more confident communicating your needs. What you get access to: - Five practical modules covering self-advocacy, communication, systems navigation, understanding your rights, and peer support - Peer support cycles - connect with others who get it - One-on-one mentoring matched to your goals - Take-home tools in plain language, including Easy Read options You don't need perfect English.
